Collaboration

Model test shoots are collaborative portfolio-building sessions where photographers, models, and, where appropriate, makeup artists work together to create new images. These sessions are typically unpaid and are designed to provide mutual benefits for everyone involved.

Following the shoot, models will receive access to a private online gallery where they can view all of the photographs from the session and select their favourite images for professional retouching. The retouched images can be used to help build a portfolio, strengthen an online presence, or share on social media.

The photographs created during the test shoot will primarily be used by the photographer for display within our website portfolio, social media channels, and promotional materials. Depending on the requirements of the individual test shoot and the experience of the model, travel expenses or additional compensation may be offered. Full details will be provided once you have registered your interest.

Duration of the Shoot

We offer one-hour, two-hour, and three-hour model test shoots to suit different levels of experience and individual goals. Our two-hour session is our standard test shoot and is recommended for most clients looking to build their portfolio and gain experience. One-hour sessions are often best suited to clients who are new to modelling, while three-hour sessions are recommended for more experienced models looking to create a wider range of images.

How We Use Your Information

The information collected through our test shoot registration form is used solely for the administration and verification of your booking enquiry. As our model test shoots are collaborative sessions and do not require a deposit, we may request additional information to help confirm the authenticity of the registration.

In most cases, this will involve asking for the active Instagram username of the person intending to take part in the test shoot. If you are unable to provide this information, we may ask you to supply alternative details as part of the registration process.

Any information provided will be used for internal purposes only and will not be shared with third parties. It is collected solely to assist with the administration of our model test shoots and to help verify genuine booking enquiries.

Test Shoot Availability

Places on our model test shoots are limited and are offered on a first come, first served basis, subject to studio availability. Registering your interest does not guarantee a place on a particular test shoot. However, we will contact you to let you know whether the session is still accepting registrations. If a place is available, we will send you further information along with details of our available dates.

On the day of your shoot

We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early to allow time to settle in and prepare, so you can make the most of your session in the studio.

Model Release Form

For clients under the age of 18, a parent or guardian will need to sign a model release form prior to the photoshoot. This standard consent form grants permission for their child to be photographed.

Health & Safety

As full-time professional photographers, we are DBS-checked and fully insured with public liability cover. Certificates are available on request. Clients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times during the photo shoot.
