At Elite Portrait Photography, our portrait sessions are typically photographed in our studio against a clean white backdrop, creating a timeless collection of images for you to choose from. Whether you already have a clear idea of what you’d like or would prefer some guidance, we are always happy to discuss your session.
What’s Included in Your Session?
Most of your portraits will be photographed against a white studio background, creating a clean, timeless style that remains our most popular choice for both children and adults. If you’d prefer something a little different, coloured backgrounds are also available.
For adults, we typically recommend neutral tones such as white, grey, or cream for a classic, elegant look, while brighter colours often work beautifully for younger children.
A selection of coloured backgrounds can be used during your session, though the range of options may vary depending on the length of your booking.

We offer a range of portrait photography packages, making it easy to choose the session that best suits your needs.
Our two-hour studio session is our most popular option, giving you plenty of time to change into multiple outfits during your shoot.
We also offer one-hour and three-hour sessions. The one-hour session is ideal for new clients or those planning only a small number of outfit changes.
The three-hour session is perfect if you’d like additional time for multiple outfits or you would like to explore our range of photography styles.

Duration of the Shoot
On the day of your photo shoot, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes before your booking so you can make the most of your time in the studio.
Photography Style
Most of the photographs will be taken against a white background, creating a clean and fresh look that works well across websites and social media.
Model Release Form
For clients under the age of 18, a parent or guardian will need to sign a model release form prior to the photoshoot. This standard consent form grants permission for their child to be photographed.
Health & Safety
As full-time professional photographers, we are DBS-checked and fully insured with public liability cover. Certificates are available on request. Clients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times during the photo shoot.

Our studio is fully equipped to support a wide range of photography services, from portrait photography and headshots to creative shoots for models, actors, and dancers. If your project requires additional space, we can arrange access to a larger studio.
