Date:

9th of March 2025 (Linton Village Hall have confirmed the booking)

Start Time:

10:00am (the hall is booked for 3 hour so we don’t have to rush the shoot)

Location:

Linton Village Hall - Coles Ln, Linton, Cambridge CB21 4JS

Parking:

The gate on the Village Hall may be locked. I would recommend parking outside or at the far end of the doctor surgery car park.

What To Expect At The Studio:

By the time you get to the hall, I should have finished setting up. If you need any help, bring anything from the car just let me know.

I am hopefully going to try and shoot two different styles of dance clothing, the most important set is the dance freestyle costumes, we will start with this first and then move onto the black dance wear.

Preparing for the photo shoot

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, here are a few things you can do to prepare for the photo shoot:

Snacks And Drinks:

Bring along some snacks and drinks, just in case you get hungry or thirsty during the session. Avoid messy snacks that could stain clothing.

Hair And Makeup:

Please arrive with your hair and makeup done as you would for a dance competition. Feel free to bring makeup or hair products for touch-ups during the shoot.

Skincare And Fake Tan:

If you typically use fake tan for dance competitions, please apply it before the shoot. Fake tan is optional and based on your personal preference.

For this shoot I would recommend wearing no nail varnish or one that is very light. Please check all your nails are clean and tidy.

Disco freestyle dance costumes

Outfit (costume):

Please bring a selection of disco freestyle dance costumes. I am happy for you to select your favourites. If you have a lot costumes to choose from I would recommend the new or colourful ones.

Footwear:

You are not required to wear shoes in these photos, but if you have some shoes you would like to wear with the outfits please bring them.

Props:

It would be nice to get a few photos of you holding a trophy, wearing a sash and holding a certificate.

Black Dance Outfits

Outfit (costume):

Please bring a selection of unbranded black dance wear this should include black trousers, black shorts, black t-shirts and black sports tops. 

Footwear:

You are not required to wear shoes in these photos, but if you have some white trainers and white socks please bring them with you because this may help with some of the photos.

Props:

Ideally, some unbranded black scrunchies for your hair.
