Dance Photography
Welcome to our website. We hope you enjoy browsing our photography. If you’re planning a photoshoot or have any questions about our dance photography, please feel free to get in touch.
Our dance photography sessions are suitable for dancers of all levels, studying contemporary lyrical, disco freestyle, jazz, and street. We offer three styles of dance photography, allowing us to tailor each session to suit your age, experience, and individual needs, while creating a varied and dynamic set of images.
Why Invest in Dance Photography?
Dance photography captures meaningful moments of progress and achievement, creating a lasting record of a dancer’s journey.
For younger dancers, being in front of the camera can be a positive and confidence-building experience. It encourages a sense of pride in what they’ve accomplished, while also allowing them to see their technique from a new perspective.
For those pursuing dance more seriously, professional images can play an important role in building a portfolio. They help document technique and can be used for auditions, applications, and future opportunities.
What’s Included in Your Session?
We understand that every dancer is at a different stage of their dance journey. For this reason, we offer three styles of photography, allowing us to tailor each session to suit your age, experience, and individual needs.
For older dancers, or those returning for a second shoot, sessions often focus on our most creative style, Creative Dance Photography, designed to elevate and expand your portfolio.
For younger dancers, or those new to dance photography, we place greater emphasis on Traditional Dance Photography, creating beautifully composed images that highlight technique and form.
For dancers who require additional headshots for their CVs, applications, or auditions, Dance-Themed Portraits can also be included within your session.
-

Creative Dance Photography
As the name suggests, this is our most creative dance photography style and is especially popular with older dancers looking to take their portfolio to the next level. Photographs are taken in the studio using carefully considered lighting to highlight each dancer’s talent through bold, visually striking poses.
-

Traditional Dance Photography
Designed for both beginner and advanced dancers, each image is carefully composed to showcase your technique and form. Shot in the studio against a traditional white backdrop, the photographs have an elegant, timeless feel.
-

Dance-Themed Portraits
Designed for dancers who require additional headshots for their CVs, dance school applications, or auditions, these portraits can also include meaningful props, such as trophies or sashes from recent events, helping to showcase your achievements.
Browse Our Range of Photography Packages
We offer a range of photography packages designed to help you choose the session that’s right for you.
Our two-hour studio session is our most popular option. It gives dancers the opportunity to change into multiple outfits during the photoshoot.
We also offer two additional options: a one-hour session and a three-hour session. The one-hour studio session is recommended for younger dancers or for those planning only a minimal number of outfit changes.
The three-hour studio session is ideal for dancers who need extra time due to the number of outfits they wish to model. It is also well suited for clients who require additional headshots in multiple outfits.

Duration of the Shoot
On the day of your photo shoot, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes before your booking so you can make the most of your time in the studio.
Photography Style
Each session is tailored to suit the dancer’s individual ability and age. During the shoot, we include a variety of photographic styles to create a dynamic mix of dance photos. Choosing a longer studio session, such as the three-hour option, allows more time to experiment with different lighting setups, backgrounds, and creative ideas.
Model Release Form
For clients under the age of 18, a parent or guardian will need to sign a model release form prior to the photoshoot. This standard consent form grants permission for their child to be photographed.
Health & Safety
We are full-time photographers, DBS-checked, and fully insured with public liability cover. Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the entire photo shoot.
